The Money Market Checking account offers limited check writing while offering you a premium market interest rate. Up to six (6) transfers a statement cycle², of which three checks per month², may be written on your Money Market account while you may still have unlimited over-the counter transactions. Another advantage is that you only have to keep a minimum balance of $50 to earn! And our deposit tiering pays you based on your balance. The higher your balance...the better the interest rate!

What do I need to bring with me to open an account?
Stop by your local Peoples First Community Bank office where our Customer Service representatives will be happy to assist you in opening up your Money Market Checking account. You will need to bring your Florida driver's License or Florida ID and your Social Security card. You will also need to have the minimum to open amount deposit with you.

Will I be charged for this account?

There is no monthly service charge with Money Market Checking if the balance does not fall below $1,000. In the event your balance falls below $1,000 you will be charged a $10 service charge. You may incur charges for using your ATM card at locations other than Peoples First Community Bank's ATM machines.
